The home depends solely on well – wishers to keep going. Every day brings new challenges, knowing that over 84 children have to be fed. Many are the times that the manager, Mr Chege has to borrow, either to clear the medical bills, school fees or even to buy food for the children. The home has leased ¼ of an acre to grow its vegetables and this has been helpful.
