The home depends solely on well – wishers to keep going. Every day brings new challenges, knowing that over 84 children have to be fed. Many are the times that the manager, Mr Chege has to borrow, either to clear the medical bills, school fees or even to buy food for the children. The home has leased ¼ of an acre to grow its vegetables and this has been helpful.

How to give
Option 1: M-Pesa Paybill 1. Open the M-Pesa menu on your phone (or the M-Pesa app). 2. Choose Lipa na M-Pesa, then Paybill. 3. Enter Business Number 4001365. 4. Enter your own account number or reference as the Account Number (for example your full name or phone number). 5. Enter the amount you wish to give and your M-Pesa PIN, then send. You will receive an M-Pesa confirmation message.
